Detailed study by Suzanne Buchan of the work of the American twin Quay Brothers and their distinctive animated films, incorporating stop-motion, puppetry and miniatures. Buchan's analysis looks at the Brothers' working techniques and their films' literary origins, space, montage, sound and music, using interviews with collaborators as well as archival material. There is a particularly close study of the Quays' film 'Street of Corocodiles.' The book includes a list of the Brothers' work.
