Account of the restoration of St Donat's Castle, Glamorgan by newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst between 1925 and 1936 and the social circles that revolved around it. Contains numerous black & white illustrations of the castle's interior, exterior and gardens as well as the celebrities who were entertained there, including Hearst's long-time lover, actress Marion Davies.
