Illustrated auction catalogue from Christie's East, New York, 8 December 1984, listing 379 items for sale from the collection of John Basmajian (1899-1989), a former animator at Disney Studios who acquired hundreds of animation cels that were being destroyed at the studios during WWII. These include cels from feature films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, The Three Caballeros and Bambi, as well as from numerous short cartoons, all dating from between 1936 and 1946.
