A5 handbill promoting 'Becoming Hattie', a one-woman show that follows an aspiring actress as she tries to emulate her heroine, Hattie Jacques. A key theme of the show is the double-standards that allow overweight male actors to play a full range of characters while confining 'larger actresses' to a limited range of low-brow comedy roles, and performer Ashley Christmas uses Hattie Jacques' career as a way of addressing social attitudes towards body image, sexism and cultural prejudices. The handbill is for the performances at the Leicester Square Theatre, 24-28 May 2016.
