Illustrated catalogue published by auctioneers Lacy Scott & Knight containing 259 items from the personal collection of photographer Angus McBean (1904-90), the majority of which are portraits of celebrities from cinema and theatrical circles:e.g. Richard Burton, John Gielgud, Clare Luce and Katherine Hepburn. There are a large number of Vivien Leigh photographs, as well as several surrealist studies, theatre props and fashion shoots, plus some original Roger Fenton photographs.
